Kitchen floor upgrade by Old Word Bo Corp, before & after
Prep: After demo, we did a quick leveling coat to fix low spots and give the new floor a flat, solid base. During demo and leveling, all cabinets, countertops, and appliances were fully protected with plastic sheeting and tape to keep dust and debris out. We also sealed off doorways to protect the rest of the home. After: Installed new waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring in a modern gray wood tone. Finished with a new reducer transition to the existing hardwood. Clean, bright, and 100% waterproof. This was a 2-day turnaround. We work on Long Island. Custom cedar cooler
I’m Omar, a Long Island contractor with Old Word Bo Corp. We build custom rustic cedar ice chests by hand in our free time on weekends — it started as a hobby, and now we’re adding them to our company’s offerings. This is a full construction build, not a store-bought kit. It features a heavy-duty drop-in cooler with a hinged cedar lid, a convenient side-mounted drainage spigot for fast, mess-free cleanup, and a built-in bottle opener mounted right where you need it for entertaining. The entire exterior is sealed with weather-resistant lacquer to highlight the natural cedar grain while protecting it from sun, rain, and spills. Built at comfortable standing height, it’s perfect for backyard cookouts, tailgates, and summer parties. Each unit is 100% complete and ready to use — just add ice and drinks. Here we have two different layouts for custom kitchen cabinets that are in the way. Before construction, we provide a design every time we manufacture custom furniture or cabinets, so that clients have an idea of what they will receive. All our custom kitchen cabinets are manufactured on-site, allowing clients to see the materials firsthand. It helps manage time, measurements, and reduces errors working directly in their home versus a workshop. This process is outlined in the proposal."👍
